A multi-generation family owned and operated farm in beautiful Cecil County, Maryland. The Wagners are dedicated to growing and harvesting the best products possible.

The Project

A double-sided family business in need of a visual identity and professional marketing materials that reflect the quality of the products they produce.

PADS View Farm partnered with KK Design to create a visual identity for both their award winning wine grape growing business and their home grown Christmas tree business. Our goal was to create a visual relationship between the two businesses and embodied the high-quality of their products.

The wine grapes are a B2B product that requires only minimal marketing due to a well established customer base. But the owners wanted a logo that fit their mission and high-quality product standards. The Christmas tree farm produces a consumer facing product which requires some local marketing that should be professional, fresh, playful, and approachable.

The Branding Solution

A similarity between a Christmas tree and a grape bunch is their triangular shape. Both marks use a similar green color and introduce other colors to support the brand. The slightly organic slab serif font helps to capture the casual, home-grown nature of the businesses while paired with a clean and modern sans-serif font.

The Holiday Launch

The brand was released for the 2018 Christmas season. Promotional ornaments, employee apparel, social media channels, and a Christmas tree website were deployed. The materials were well received and the farm sold out of product in just 3 weekends!

The Website

A single page festive Wordpress website was created to support the Christmas tree sales process. It included pricing information, a count down until Christmas, the quantity of trees available, and other helpful tips for picking the right tree for your space.
